Poetry

A Silken Shore

Dreaming of a silken shore
Where eagerness meets water’s edge
And nature takes me to places unknown
Wrapped in the allure of softer, brighter moments

Take me to a silken shore
Beyond well-worn paths of rootless woes
And allow the tangle of my stories to unravel
Like seaweed in the sand

Meet me at a silken shore
To bare ourselves in vivid silence
And bathe in seas of glistening mercy
That render our souls free and shiny

Blessed be a silken shore
Where I feel truly one with all that is
And gentle in my body
At home, at peace, hopeful once again
