Growing Contentment

Sewing seeds contented,
In the garden of my heart,
Gives me reassurance,
That love will do its part.

To invest in ‘All Is Well’-ness,
Is a choice beyond my fear,
A firmly laid foundation,
For all that I hold dear.

The storms of life will test me,
And rock me to my core,
Contentment’s there to move me,
To another peaceful shore.

And so I grow contentment,
Each day I feel its gifts,
An ease and grace becoming,
With hope and trust that lifts.
