Prayer

Sensitive

I allow myself to be touched by even the slightest things. By birds on a wire, the sound of chimes, a spider spinning its web, the smile of a stranger.

My openness to sensation allows me to be tickled, caressed, shaken, fortified, charmed, shocked, soothed and then some. I cannot control my instinctual replies to life’s momentary invitations because I am in sync with them in the untamed of my realness.

I am willing to be sensitive, to allow life’s moments to enter and move through me, sparking my emotional body alive. It takes courage to feel deeply. . . especially when this world makes little room for the beauty and breadth of our sensitive nature.

I am unwilling to ‘put a lid on it’.

Today I accept life’s call to allow myself to be touched and moved again and again. I will cherish my sensitve ways and elevate their wisdom. It is a call to my very beingness, alive and well in human expression.

Feeling is a precious gift.

So Be It . . . Amen . . . Aho . . . Peace
