Viola Love

I see you, Sweet Viola,
With your velvet smile so bright,
You touch us with your splendor,
And lift us with your light.

Whisper your quiet wisdom,
As direct as you are coy,
Call us to your beauty,
Tempt us with your joy.

For who could pass Viola,
And ignore her humble gaze,
Her softness so relaxing,
Her hopeful face ablaze.

I love you, Sweet Viola,
My wonder you restore,
You breathe new life within me,
I am innocent once more.
